Territorial Scope of the Warranty:
EU and EEA countries
Subject of the Warranty:
Products sold by Minaro, including, among others, lighting fixtures and built-in systems for surface-mounted, recessed, system, and track lighting installations.
WARRANTY PERIOD
1. For lighting fixtures with an integrated LED light source and driver, the warranty is valid for 5 (five) years from the date of issue of the VAT invoice or another legally valid accounting document.
2. In case a claim is accepted:
a) Product repair – the warranty period is extended by the duration of the repair from the date of receipt of the claim to the date of return of the product to the Buyer (the warranty does not restart).
b) Product replacement – the warranty period starts anew from the date the replacement product is issued to the Buyer.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
3. The warranty covers only physical defects caused by manufacturing or material faults that appear during the warranty period.
4. The warranty applies only to products used and installed according to the instructions available at www.minaro.pl and those provided with the product. Proper installation and usage according to electrical values, operating range, and environmental conditions specified in the relevant IEC specifications and standards are required for the warranty to be valid.
5. The Guarantor is responsible only for the product; the warranty does not cover indirect or direct losses (e.g., installation or removal costs) or lost profits related to the defect.
6. Parameters of LED fixtures (modules) are subject to a tolerance of +/- 10% for luminous flux / color temperature and +/- 5% for power. Remaining within these tolerances is not grounds for a claim.
7. The warranty is void in the following cases:
a) Mechanical damage caused by the Buyer, including incorrect selection of driver, transformer, or other devices not recommended by the Guarantor.
b) Lighting fixtures with integrated LED sources and drivers operating more than 4000h per year on average during the warranty period.
c) Damage or defects resulting from improper use or storage.
d) Damage caused by weather, faulty electrical installation, or power outages.
e) Repairs performed by the Buyer on their own.
f) Product operated outside the specified ambient temperature range (e.g., -20°C to +35°C).
g) Defects related to unpainted surfaces that were not intended to be painted during production.
h) Components that normally wear during use (e.g., hinges, clips, sliding pads).
8. The warranty applies only to products purchased within the EU or EEA.
9. The Guarantor undertakes to repair defects free of charge if they appear during the warranty period. If repair is impossible or the item has already been repaired by the Guarantor (or under statutory warranty), the Guarantor will replace the product with a new one. If replacement is impossible (e.g., discontinued model), the Guarantor will refund the purchase price.
10. Upon replacement, the defective product becomes the property of the Guarantor upon receipt of the new product by the Buyer.
CLAIMS PROCEDURE
11. The Buyer must inspect delivered products upon receipt and, in case of discrepancies, refuse acceptance or prepare a damage report. Failure to do so may result in the claim being rejected (this does not apply to consumers).
12. Claims must be submitted by email to biuro@minaro.pl The Guarantor may request proof of purchase before processing the claim.
13. Claims should be reported immediately after discovering a defect, and no later than 14 (fourteen) days after the end of the warranty period for defects found within the warranty.
14. The claim should include: contact details (including email for electronic response), product identification, defect description, purchase date and location (e.g., email order), and documentation of the defect (e.g., photos).
15. If the claim cannot be assessed based on the provided information, the Guarantor may request the Buyer to send the product to: ul. Hofmana 30, 30-210 Kraków, Poland.
16. The Buyer should send the defective product only after receiving instructions from the Guarantor regarding method (e.g., courier) and timing. Shipping costs to the Guarantor are initially covered by the Guarantor but must be reimbursed by the Buyer if the claim is unjustified. If the Guarantor preliminarily deems a claim unjustified, they may require the Buyer to send the product at their cost.
17. The Buyer should carefully pack the product for transport; bubble wrap, foam, and protective boxes are recommended.
18. The Guarantor will fulfill warranty obligations within 21 (twenty-one) days of receiving all information and, if necessary, the claimed product. In special cases (e.g., product testing), this period may be extended, with the Buyer notified.
19. In the case of an unjustified claim, all claim-related costs, including shipping, are borne by the Buyer.
20. The warranty does not exclude or limit the Buyer’s rights under statutory warranty for defects, if applicable, or under general terms of sale applied by the Guarantor or another seller.
